ABOUT MATCHA
Matcha is a finely stone-milled green tea powder made from shade-grown tencha leaves.
Our matcha is single-origin from one dedicated farm in Shizuoka Prefecture. We work directly with the producer for full traceability and consistent quality.
Unopened: 6–12 months
After opening: best within 4–6 weeks
Keep your matcha in a cool, dry place with both the inner and outer lids sealed tightly.
Sift 2–3g of matcha, add 60–70ml of hot water at 75–80°C, and whisk until smooth and frothy.
For lattes, add your preferred milk.
Each tin contains 40g of ceremonial-grade matcha.
SHIPPING
We ship within Japan (Japan Post) and to selected international destinations via DHL Express. Please email info@kitauramatcha.jp to confirm shipping availability for your country.
Orders are processed within 2–4 business days.
Most orders arrive within 3–6 business days after dispatch, depending on the destination.
Some countries may charge import duties or taxes. These are determined by local customs and are the customer’s responsibility.
RETURNS & PACKING
We cannot accept returns of opened matcha.
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days with photos, and we will assist you.
Yes. Our tins are made from recyclable tinplate (steel). The inner matcha bag is made from a multi-layer plastic film with an aluminum coating, and the outer shipping boxes are recyclable cardboard. Please note that recycling guidelines may vary by region.
